Michael Brown has not travelled with the rest of the Fulham squad to the far east for the Barclays Asia Trophy competition.

The former Spurs midfielder is wanted by Wigan Athletic and Fulham boss Lawrie Sanchez is willing to let Brown leave the club, following the signing of Steven Davis from Aston Villa.

“Michael Brown is not with us on this tour, in this moment in time he is talking to another club and discussions are ongoing.”

Wigan are thought to have had a £2.5million bid accepted for the former skipper.
